# Impact Check

The theoretical price impact and asset output of an order can be calculated via the Impact button on the Tools interface.

*Note: Impact checks are currently only supported for Minswap. Further DEX support is in the pipeline.*

You will be prompted to complete the following form:

**Order Type:** The type of order to check. Must be `BUY` or `SELL`. *Required.*

**Ticker:** The asset ticker to search (ie. SNEK). *Required.*

**Amount (Asset)**: The amount of the asset to buy/sell. *Required if Amount (ADA) is blank.*

**Amount (ADA):** The ADA value of the amount of the asset to buy/sell. *Required if Amount (Asset) is blank.*

Upon submitting the form, the order impact and output amount will be calculated and displayed:
